Two Ocean Trust Announces Appointment of New Partner

January 30, 2025 – Jackson Hole, WY – Two Ocean Trust, a Wyoming chartered trust company specializing in generational wealth management for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and foundations, is pleased to announce the promotion of Albert Forkner to Partner.

Forkner joined the firm in October 2023 as Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, bringing over 25 years of experience in financial services regulation and governance. As Partner, he will continue to help shape Two Ocean Trust’s strategic direction while further strengthening its risk management and regulatory compliance framework.

Before joining Two Ocean Trust, Forkner served for over a decade as the Wyoming State Banking Commissioner, overseeing the regulation of state-chartered banks, trust companies, and other financial institutions. He played a key role in developing Wyoming’s pioneering regulatory framework for private trust companies (PTCs) and digital asset services. Additionally, he held senior leadership roles at the Conference of State Bank Supervisors, demonstrating his commitment to the financial services industry.

 

At Two Ocean Trust, Forkner leads all risk management functions, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and international regulations. His experience spanning both traditional financial institutions and emerging digital asset industries uniquely positions him to help guide the firm in a rapidly changing financial landscape.
